On February 11, 2025, a poster competition on the theme “Water Conservation and Clean Environment” was organized under the aegis of the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), Namami Gange Uttarakhand, and Government Degree College Chandrabadni (Naikhari), Tehri Garhwal at Shri Chandrabadni Public School, Pujar Gaon. A total of 66 students participated in the event, showcasing their creativity and awareness about environmental issues.
Along with the competition, students took a pledge to promote environmental cleanliness, plastic elimination, and water conservation. The event saw the presence of Dr. Guru Prasad Thapliyal, nodal officer of the college, and Mrs. Soumya Kabtiyal, along with Shri Manoj Kumar Sharma, principal of Chandrabadni Public School, and teachers including Prashant Sagar, Vandana, and Sheetal Juyal. Several teaching and non-teaching staff also participated in the event, emphasizing the importance of sustainable environmental practices.
