PRD Jawans in Uttarakhand Will Get Honorarium Even During Illness: Rekha Arya

Uttarakhand – PRD jawans in Uttarakhand will now continue to receive their honorarium for up to six months if they are hospitalized or ill. Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya gave these instructions during a meeting at the Secretariat’s FRDC Auditorium.

After the meeting, Rekha Arya said the department will consider all fair demands of PRD jawans. She also asked officials to find a better term than “volunteer” for PRD personnel.

The minister confirmed that financial assistance for PRD jawans will be increased and honorarium will be paid regularly even during illness.

PRD organization representatives asked for year-round (365 days) employment. The minister instructed officials to take steps to fulfill this demand.

Preparations for PRD Foundation Day on 11 December were also reviewed. The meeting included Special Principal Secretary Sports Amit Sinha, Director Ashish Chauhan, Additional Director Ajay Agrawal, other officials, and PRD representatives.
