On the 11th International Yoga Day, President Droupadi Murmu participated in a mass yoga session at the Police Line grounds in Dehradun. Addressing the gathering, she described yoga as a strong example of India’s soft power and emphasized that it is a way of life meant for all, beyond the boundaries of religion, caste, or community.
After the session, the President extended her greetings to all individuals across the world practicing yoga on this special day. She noted that since 2015, yoga has become a shared heritage of humanity and continues to represent India’s influence through its cultural and spiritual strength.
