On the occasion of Teacher’s Day 2025, Prof. Dr. Alok Sagar Gautam of Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University has been awarded the Teaching Excellence Award by the Central University of Rajasthan.
Dr. Gautam, founder of the Himalayan Environmental and Space Physics Laboratory, received the award in a ceremony attended by Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, the Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Rajasthan, and several nationally acclaimed dignitaries. The recognition highlights his contribution to higher education and research in the Himalayan region.
