In an administrative move, the Uttarakhand Education Department has promoted 43 senior administrative officers to the post of Chief Administrative Officer. After counselling held at the Directorate of Elementary Education, the officers have been posted to various offices across the state. The promotions were approved based on recommendations by the departmental selection committee, as per the official order issued by Director of Elementary Education, Ajay Kumar Naudiyal.
The postings have been made in accordance with the Transfer Act and relevant government orders. The promotion is temporary and can be revoked at any time without prior notice. Officers who decline the promotion may face departmental action, and failure to assume charge within the stipulated time will result in automatic cancellation of the promotion.

The officers promoted include Sunil Kumar, Rakesh Mohan Saklani, Pramod Kandpal, Harish Chandra Ramola, Pushpa Upreti, Mahadev Maithani, Jyoti Kumar Pandey, Indra Dimri, Ganesh Singh Gadiya, Jagdamba Shah, Sunita Uniyal, and 32 others.
