Radha Raturi; Uttarakhand’s New Chief Information Commissioner

The Uttarakhand government is seeking reports on purchases over 250 sq meters and land usage exceeding 12.50 acres within seven days.

Radha Raturi has been sworn in as the new Chief Information Commissioner of Uttarakhand. The oath was administered by Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd) during a ceremony held at Raj Bhavan on Saturday. Alongside her, Kushalanand Kothiyal and Devendra Kumar Arya were sworn in as State Information Commissioners.

The Governor congratulated the newly appointed officials and extended his best wishes for their successful tenure. The ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Cabinet Ministers Satpal Maharaj, Ganesh Joshi, Subodh Uniyal, former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, MLA Savita Kapoor, Information Commissioners Yogesh Bhatt and Dilip Singh Kunwar, DGP Deepam Seth, former DGP Anil Raturi, and Chief Secretary R.K. Sudhanshu, among several other senior officials and dignitaries.
