Rajnath Singh targets Pakistan, calls India’s economy a Ferrari, Pakistan a dump truck

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday launched a sharp attack on Pakistan, comparing the economic progress of both nations since independence. Referring to a recent remark by Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir, Singh said India has built a Ferrari-like economy with hard work, sound policies, and vision, while Pakistan continues to struggle like a debris-filled dump truck.

He pointed out that Munir himself had compared India to a speeding luxury car and Pakistan to a truck loaded with gravel, warning that a collision would hurt the car more. Singh remarked that such a statement, coming from Pakistan’s own military leadership, was less a joke and more an admission of failure.

The minister said Munir’s comment was widely mocked in Pakistan and abroad, with critics questioning how two countries that gained independence at the same time could end up in such contrasting economic conditions. Singh stressed that India’s rapid growth is a result of determination and planning, whereas Pakistan’s ongoing economic crisis reflects its internal shortcomings.

He further added that India must treat this statement as a serious warning rather than mere trolling. “If we take this remark lightly, it could become a matter of concern. But if we prepare in advance, India is fully capable of responding strongly to any threat,” Singh asserted.
