The Uttarakhand government has appointed Ranjan Mishra as the new Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and Head of the Forest Department. He will replace current PCCF Samir Sinha, who has retired from service.
Ranjan Mishra was previously serving as the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife). Following the government order, he will now take charge as the top official of the state forest department.
