Rudrapur, 3 Nov: Senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Pracharak Sneh Pal passed away this morning in Rudrapur (Udham Singh Nagar district). Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and other BJP and RSS leaders have condoled the passing away of Pal. Though officially known as Sneh Pal in the RSS circle, his family name was Naipal Singh. His elder brother, Ompal Singh, is also a senior Pracharak and currently serves as a national office-bearer of the Shikshanik Mahasangh (Academic Federation), headquartered in Lucknow.

Pal has held several key responsibilities during his lifetime, including serving as the Almora District Pracharak prior to the Emergency period. His enduring contribution to the establishment of Ekal Vidyalayas (one-teacher schools) and his active involvement in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement remain etched in the collective memory of the Sangh. Known for his affectionate nature, he maintained close bonds with younger workers and his contemporaries alike. He was part of the generation of Sangh pracharaks who have devoted their lives with tireless dedication and sacrifice to lay the strong foundation on which the RSS stands today.

The Sangh’s present structure stands upon the unwavering dedication of such workers, who devoted every moment of their lives to its cause. With prayers for his soul to attain a sacred abode, a humble tribute was offered to the departed.

Dhami stated that Pal’s active participation in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement inspired many and further noted his contribution to the propagation of Hindutva ideals in Nepal.
