South Korea Plane Crash Claims 47 Lives, Investigation Underway

A tragic plane crash at Muan International Airport in South Korea on Sunday claimed the lives of 47 passengers. The aircraft, a Jeju Air Boeing 737-800, was returning from Bangkok and carried 175 passengers and six crew members.

According to emergency officials, the plane skidded off the runway and collided with a wall, triggering a massive fire. Rescue teams worked swiftly to evacuate passengers, but the death toll is expected to rise as investigations continue.

Authorities have launched a probe into the cause of the accident, which follows a recent plane crash in Kazakhstan that claimed 38 lives out of 67 passengers onboard.
