Agriculture Minister Joshi attends Kunjapuri Tourism & Development Fair

Narendranagar, 28 Oct: State Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi said, today, “Sports are an integral part of human life. A healthy body is essential for a healthy mind. Through sports, young people can not only build their careers but also make significant contributions to the development of the state and the nation.”
Joshi was addressing the inaugural ceremony of the sports competitions held under the 49th Siddhapeeth Shri Kunjapuri Tourism and Development Fair as the Chief Guest. While taking the salute at an impressive march past presented by various educational institutions, he said that fairs are the heritage of culture and traditions, fostering social harmony and brotherhood.
On this occasion, the Forest and Technical Education Minister, Subodh Uniyal, who attended as the special guest, said that the sports competitions of this fair have produced many national and international players. With the increasing participation of players and clubs, this fair is now gaining recognition as an inter-state event. He appealed to the local residents to welcome visiting sports and culture enthusiasts with the spirit of “Atithi Devo Bhava”.
The event was also attended by Fair Convenor and former Municipal Chairman Rajendra Vikram Singh Panwar, Block Pramukh Deeksha Rana, former Mandi Parishad Chairman Veer Singh Rawat, BJP Mandal President Saket Bijlwan, former Block Pramukh Rajendra Bhandari, senior BJP leader Devesh Uniyal, retired Principal Rituraj Singh Negi, and several other dignitaries.
