Dehradun 3 Oct: The Book Launch of ‘Amalgamation 3’ was organised by the Expressions, the Literary Club of UIT, today, in the seminar hall. The event, anchored by Rahul and Diya, celebrated creativity, expression, and the literary achievements of the university’s students.
Varsity Vice President Ankita Joshi, who wrote the foreword of the Book, appreciated the Literary Committee’s efforts and encouraged students to continue exploring creativity alongside academics.
Professor Dr Anil Dixit, Chairperson, Literary Committee, and Chairperson, HRDA, also addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of nurturing literary culture within the campus. He commended the contributors for their dedication and urged students to view writing not just as an art, but as a powerful medium of thought and self-expression.
Ramesh Bhateeja, who is a social activist with over 30 years of contribution to cleanliness, also shared his reflections, expressing gratitude to the university and mentors for providing a platform that recognises student talent and fosters confidence in writing.
