Swachhata Drive at Chandrakoot Parvat and Chandrabhaga Stream on World Water Day

On the occasion of World Water Day, a cleanliness drive was organized under Namami Gange by Government College Chandrabadni Naikhari at the Chandrabhaga stream, which originates from Chandrakoot Parvat. College students conducted the drive along the pedestrian route leading to Maa Chandrabadni Temple at the mountain peak. Before the trek, shopkeepers at the parking area were administered an oath to keep the water stream clean and pure.

During the event, devotees walking along the route were also encouraged to pledge their support for cleanliness and contribute to maintaining the sanctity of the Chandrabhaga stream. The initiative aimed to raise awareness and inspire the public to take responsibility for environmental conservation.

Prominent attendees included Economics Department Professor Suresh Bhatt, Office Assistant Bhuwanesh Bisht, Geography Department Lecturer Soumya Kabtiyal, Namami Gange Nodal Officer Dr. Guru Prasad Thapliyal, and Sanskrit Department Lecturer Dr. Sachin Semwal.
