A bus travelling from Srinagar to Rishikesh met with an accident near Bachelikhal on the Srinagar–Devprayag–Rishikesh route in Tehri district on Monday. The vehicle overturned on the road after its brakes reportedly failed, leading to a loss of control.
There were 30 passengers on board at the time of the incident. Fortunately, most escaped unharmed, with only two individuals sustaining injuries. The injured were promptly taken to SPN Hospital in Rishikesh via a private vehicle. All other passengers were reported safe.
