Train Cancellations Alert: 29 Trains to Remain Cancelled Until May 3 Due to Maintenance Work

Passengers planning train journeys should take note as train operations will be significantly impacted due to pre-non-interlocking and non-interlocking work in Gorakhpur. The maintenance work on the Gorakhpur Cantt-Kusmhi rail section will continue from April 12 to May 3, affecting the schedules of 29 trains.

According to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Aditya Gupta, this maintenance work will lead to the cancellation of several important trains, including those passing through Laksar and other major stations.

List of Cancelled Trains

• Sitapur-Shahjahanpur: Cancelled from April 16 to May 6.
• Gonda-Sitapur: Cancelled from April 12 to May 6.
• Darbhanga-Amritsar Express: Cancelled from April 16 to May 4.
• Saharsa-Anand Vihar Terminal Express: Cancelled for 16 days between April 11 and May 2.
• Anand Vihar Terminal-Saharsa Express: Cancelled from April 12 to May 3.
• Raxaul Jn.-Anand Vihar Terminal: Cancelled from April 12 to May 3.
• Anand Vihar Terminal-Raxaul Jn.: Cancelled from April 13 to May 4.
• Gorakhpur-Dehradun Express: Cancelled on April 16, 18, 23, 25, 30, and May 2.
• Dehradun-Gorakhpur Express: Cancelled on April 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, and May 1.
• Amritsar-Gorakhpur Express: Cancelled from April 19 to May 3.
• Purnia Court-Amritsar Express: Cancelled from April 20 to May 4.
• Kamakhya Jn.-Anand Vihar Express: Cancelled on April 24 and May 1.
• Anand Vihar Terminal-Kamakhya Jn.: Cancelled on April 25 and May 2.
• Saharsa-Amritsar on April 27 and Amritsar-Saharsa on April 28.
• Amritsar-New Jalpaiguri Express on April 30 and New Jalpaiguri-Amritsar Express on May 2.
• Anand Vihar Terminal-Gorakhpur on April 30 and Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar Terminal on May 1.
• Jalandhar City-Darbhanga on May 4 and Darbhanga-Jalandhar City on May 3.

Possible Delays and Additional Changes

In addition to the cancellations, some trains, including the Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar Terminal and Darbhanga-Chandigarh Express, will operate with delays on specific days. Passengers are advised to check their train schedules and plan accordingly.
