Dehradun – The Food Safety and Drug Administration Department of Uttarakhand has received 18 newly appointed drug inspectors through the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC). Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has instructed officials to ensure their postings across various districts within a month.
The minister emphasized the government’s continuous efforts to strengthen the department’s operations. The long-vacant posts of drug inspectors were filled following a proposal sent to UKPSC. After completing the recruitment process, the commission provided the list of selected candidates to the department.
The candidates selected for the post of drug inspector include Harish Singh, Pankaj Pant, Pooja Rani, Nidhi Sharma, Vinod Jagudi, Shubham Kotnala, Pooja Joshi, Hardik Bhatt, Gauri Kukreti, Harshita, Archana Uppal, Nidhi Raturi, Mohammad Tajim, Seema Bisht Chauhan, Megha, Nisha Rawat, Amit Kumar Azad, and Rishabh Dhama.
Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat highlighted that the appointment of these drug inspectors will significantly improve the drug manufacturing and distribution system in the state. He further stated that the newly appointed inspectors must complete all formalities and join the office of the Food Safety and Drug Administration Commissioner within a month.
