UKPSC Removes Six Questions From District Sports Officer Exam, Objections Open Till Feb 8

After a cyber attack on the State Public Service Commission's website, the Commission will publish results in newspapers until the site is restored.

The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has removed six questions from the District Sports Officer recruitment examination after reviewing objections raised by candidates. The commission has released a revised answer key and invited fresh representations till February 8.

According to a notice issued by UKPSC In-charge Secretary Jayvardhan Sharma, the District Sports Officer examination was conducted on November 2 last year. The provisional answer key was released on November 14, following which candidates were asked to submit objections. After examining the objections received, the commission decided to remove certain questions from the evaluation process.

In the first question paper covering General Studies, General Intelligence Test and General Hindi, questions number 43 and 73 from Set-A, 25 and 80 from Set-B, 10 and 77 from Set-C, and 3 and 74 from Set-D have been excluded from evaluation.

Similarly, in the second question paper related to sports subjects, questions 71, 82, 90 and 98 from Set-A, 53, 64, 72 and 80 from Set-B, 31, 50, 51 and 58 from Set-C, and 5, 24, 26 and 32 from Set-D have been removed.

UKPSC officials stated that candidates can now submit objections on the revised answer key along with supporting documents till February 8. Representations must be sent to the commission’s designated email address, [email protected]. The commission said further action will be taken after examining the representations received within the stipulated time.
