Dehradun: The Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has clarified its stance on the graduate-level recruitment exam conducted under allegations of a paper leak. The commission stated that the issue was confined to one candidate at a single exam centre, and hence, it does not amount to a paper leak. Therefore, the exam will not be cancelled.
Commission Secretary Dr. Shiv Kumar Barnwal said the exam was conducted across 445 centres peacefully, with no irregularities reported elsewhere. He emphasized that since the case pertains to an individual student, there is no justification for cancelling the entire examination. The commission will soon release the official answer key.
Regarding the accused candidate, identified as Khalid, the commission has decided that his result will not be declared. Dr. Barnwal added that strict action, including possible debarment, will be taken against him as per rules.
