The Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has removed 204 candidates from the recruitment process for failing to appear for document verification. These candidates had earlier cleared the written examination and typing test but remained absent during the mandatory certificate verification stage.
According to UKSSSC Secretary Dr Shiv Kumar Barnwal, the recruitment was conducted for Group C posts including Data Entry Operator, Junior Assistant, Computer Assistant, Receptionist, Mate, Work Supervisor and Housing Inspector in various government departments. The written examination for these posts was held on 19 January last year.
Based on the examination results, a merit list for the typing test was released on 28 March, following which typing tests were conducted between 18 August and 5 September. After completion of these stages, the commission issued a list of 1,141 candidates on 27 November for document verification.
The document verification process was carried out between 1 December 2025 and 1 January 2026. Candidates who could not attend on the scheduled dates due to unavoidable reasons were given one additional opportunity on 1 January. However, out of the 1,141 shortlisted candidates, only 937 appeared for verification, while 204 candidates failed to report.
