The Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has reopened the application window for LT Special Education Teacher posts after the state government updated eligibility rules to include the Rehabilitation Council of India’s (RCI) Diploma in Education (DEd) Special Education. Candidates can now apply or modify their earlier applications until 31 December.
UKSSSC had earlier advertised 128 Special Education Teacher posts, with applications accepted from 17 September to 7 October and a correction window from 10 to 12 October. Initially, only DLEd-qualified candidates were eligible, but the government later added the RCI diploma to the qualification list. Following this change, the commission has allowed fresh applications and corrections. Candidates making modifications must pay the required fee.
Separately, recruitment has started for 57 Group-C posts across various departments, including Law Assistant, Research Officer, Adventure Sports Officer, Cameraman, Photographer, Cartographer, Surveyor, Instructor, Artist, Computer Programmer, and others. The last date to apply is 30 December, with corrections allowed from 3 to 5 January. The written examination is proposed to begin on 9 March.
