Preparations for the 28th All India Sports Competition–2025 have gained momentum in Uttarakhand. The state forest headquarters has sent a proposal to the government for the formation of a High Power Committee and an Executive Committee to oversee the event. The proposal outlines the powers and responsibilities of both committees.
As per the proposal, around 4,000 players are expected to participate in this national-level event. Arrangements for accommodation, meals, local transport, procurement of sports equipment, and the management of both the opening and closing ceremonies will be handled under the committees’ supervision.
The proposed High Power Committee will consist of eight members, chaired by the Forest Minister. The Executive Committee will include nine members and be led by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests.
