Over 19,000 Class 10 & 12 Fail Students of UK Board to Get Opportunity in Improvement Exams

More than 19,000 Class 10 and 12 students who failed in one or two subjects under the Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) will now get a second chance to pass. The board has announced the supplementary examination schedule for these students.

According to UBSE Secretary V.P. Semalty, this opportunity is being extended to Class 10 students who failed in two subjects and Class 12 students who failed in one subject. The supplementary exams will be held from August 4 to August 11 at 97 designated centres across the state.

A total of 8,400 Class 10 students and 10,706 Class 12 students have registered for the exam. Among the districts, Haridwar has the highest number of candidates (4,658), while Champawat has the lowest (316).

The exams will be conducted daily from 10 AM to 1 PM. Due to the higher number of examinees, two centres each have been set up in Bahadrabad (Haridwar) and Rudrapur (Udham Singh Nagar).
