The Uttarakhand government has decided to implement the Uttarakhand Board of School Education syllabus in all madrasas and minority educational institutions across the state, calling it a step taken in the interest of students.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said the move aims to ensure quality and uniform education for children from minority communities. He stated that a new Minority Education Act has been introduced in the state to strengthen academic standards and provide equal learning opportunities.

Speaking at a programme organised at the Himalayan Cultural Centre on World Minority Rights Day, the Chief Minister said the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand has set an example for the entire country by promoting social justice and equality. He added that educational reforms are being aligned with the same objective of inclusion and equal opportunity.
