The Uttarakhand cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday, approved six important proposals after discussions across departments including education, urban development, housing, health, and disaster management.
Key approvals included the creation of two advocate posts in the establishment office of the High Court along with positions for a senior private secretary and stenographer. In Udham Singh Nagar district, 9.918 hectares of land was allocated to the District Development Authority.
To improve traffic management in Dehradun city, the cabinet approved the formation of Dehradun City Transport Limited. Additionally, under the Animal Husbandry Department, the Poultry Feed Subsidy Scheme was sanctioned for nine hill districts of the state.
A total subsidy amount of ₹2.25 crore has been earmarked for the scheme to support poultry farming in these regions.
