Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday held three back-to-back high-level meetings before making a surprise visit to the Uttarakhand State Emergency Operations Centre. During his unannounced inspection, the CM reviewed the current weather situation and sought detailed reports on the heavy rainfall affecting several districts.
CM Dhami assessed disaster response measures, rescue operations, and alertness levels of concerned departments. He directed all district magistrates to remain in alert mode, monitor sensitive regions closely, and ensure swift and effective response in case of emergencies.
The Chief Minister emphasized timely coordination and preparedness to minimize the impact of rain-induced disasters in the state.
