Uttarakhand: Dhami govt releases second list, 7 more get key posts

The Uttarakhand government has released the second list of appointments for key positions across various commissions, councils, and committees. On Sunday, seven more individuals were assigned responsibilities as part of the ongoing process of appointing office bearers.

As per the latest list, Rao Khale Khan has been appointed as a member of the Farmer Commission, while Yogesh Rajwar has been given responsibility in the Child Protection Commission. Deep Prakash Nevaliya has been appointed as a member of the Social Welfare Monitoring Committee, and Manoj Gautam has been inducted into the Scheduled Caste Commission.

Prem Lata has been appointed as a member of the State Women Commission, while Ruchi Giri has been given a role in the Other Backward Classes (OBC) Commission. Rajpal Kashyap has been assigned responsibility in the OBC Welfare Council.

Earlier, the government had already distributed responsibilities to 14 individuals on Friday. From Dehradun, Kuldeep Sutola was appointed as Chairman of the State Sports Council, while Dhruv Rautela from Nainital was made Vice Chairman of the Media Advisory Committee.

Other key appointments included Haripriya Joshi to the State Women Commission, Vinod Suyal to the State Youth Welfare Advisory Council, and Mukesh Mahrana to the Tea Development Advisory Council. Charu Kothari was appointed to the State Movement Activist Honor Council, while Prem Singh Rana was inducted into the Tribal Commission.

Additionally, Khem Singh Chauhan and Sona Sajwan were given roles in OBC Welfare Council and Herbal Advisory Committee respectively. Govind Pilkhwal was appointed to the Handloom and Handicrafts Development Council, Baljeet Soni to the Minority Commission, and Seema Chauhan was made Vice Chairperson of the Fisheries Development Authority. Senior BJP leaders Bhawna Mehra and Ashok Verma were also assigned responsibilities.
