The Uttarakhand Education Department will now use the Vidya Samiksha Kendra platform to monitor upcoming teacher retirements and subject-wise vacancies over the next five years with a single click. This system aims to streamline teacher recruitment and ensure timely proposals for new posts.
According to officials, tracking retiring teachers will help avoid staff shortages by enabling early recruitment planning. The system will also provide data on student numbers in residential schools, allowing the department to identify districts with lower student strength.
Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has directed officials to take necessary action to implement the system effectively.
