Dehradun – The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has officially approved the dates for the 38th National Games, which will be held in Uttarakhand from January 28 to February 14, 2025. A letter confirming this decision was sent to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who had previously requested the finalization of the event dates during a meeting with IOA President Dr. P.T. Usha in Delhi last month. Dr. Usha had given tentative approval, which has now been formalized by the IOA.
To ensure the smooth organization of the games, the IOA has established five committees, each dedicated to different aspects of the event. The committees include the Games Technical Conduct Committee led by Sunaina, the NSF/SOA Coordination Committee headed by Madhukant Pathak, the Protocol Committee chaired by Vithal Shirgaonkar, the Safeguarding Committee overseen by Suman Kaushik, and the Prevention of Manipulation of Competition Committee led by IAS R.K. Sudhanshu.
