The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has announced that the Combined State Civil/Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Preliminary Examination will be held on June 29, 2025, in two sessions across 24 cities in 13 districts.
- The first session (General Studies) will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
- The second session (General Aptitude Test) will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Candidates can download their admit cards from the official UKPSC website ukpsc.gov.in starting June 18.
Applications had been invited for 123 PCS vacancies across 24 departments, including:
- 3 posts of Deputy Collector (Personnel & Vigilance Dept)
- 7 of Superintendent of Police (Home Dept)
- 10 of Finance Officer/Treasury Officer (Finance Dept)
- 6 of Assistant Director/Audit Officer (Finance Dept)
- 12 of Deputy Registrar Grade-2 (Finance Dept)
- 13 of Assistant Commissioner, State Tax
- 17 of State Tax Officer
- 7 of Assistant Municipal Commissioner/Executive Officer (Urban Development)
- 2 of Work Officer, District Panchayat (Panchayati Raj Dept)
- 15 of Deputy Education Officer/Staff Officer/Law Officer (School Education)
- 2 of District Social Welfare Officer
The commission has also set June 23 as the last date for physically challenged candidates to submit applications for scribe assistance, which must be sent via post to the Haridwar office. This information was released by UKPSC Secretary Giridhari Singh Rawat.
