Mussoorie – The Winterline Carnival will take place in Mussoorie from 24 to 29 December 2025, aimed at boosting tourism in the hill town. The event will feature cultural performances, adventure sports, entertainment programs and competitive activities, along with several stalls expected to benefit local businesses.
At a review meeting held on Tuesday at the Manthan Auditorium on Rajpur Road, Mussoorie MLA and Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi directed officials to ensure a grand and well-organized event. Discussions were held on the plans for a Shobha Yatra, cultural shows, adventure sports, contests, food festival, motor bike rally, marathon, nature walk, star-gazing, history walk and vintage rally.
The minister instructed departments to finalise arrangements related to parking, traffic management, safety, water and electricity supply, bonfire points and cleanliness to prevent inconvenience to tourists. He also emphasised giving stage opportunities to local artists and promoting Uttarakhand’s cultural identity. As part of the food festival, officials were directed to include millet-based regional food items and traditional hill cuisine.
District Magistrate Savin Bansal, CDO Abhinav Shah, MDDA Secretary Mohan Singh and other officials attended the meeting.
