Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while addressing a gathering at the inauguration of the Hanumat Katha Mandapam in Ayodhya’s Hanumangarhi on Friday, said that this is a “new India” which does not provoke others but also does not spare anyone who provokes it. Drawing a parallel with the epic Ramayana, he said, “Just like Lord Hanuman gave a befitting reply to Ravana’s son, our armed forces did the same with terrorists.”
CM Yogi said that India did not initiate aggression against Pakistan but responded strongly to acts of terror. “When 24 innocent Indians were killed by terrorists, our forces eliminated 124 terrorists in response,” he added.
He further claimed that Pakistan has lived its life for 75 years and now its end is near. “One of our revered saints had prophesied the downfall of Pakistan. The country will face the consequences of its actions,” he stated, asserting that Pakistan will no longer be spared for harboring and supporting terrorism.
The chief minister’s fiery remarks emphasized India’s robust counter-terrorism stance and resonated with the crowd, especially in the spiritually significant city of Ayodhya.
