Under the PM Gati Shakti initiative, 44 departments in Uttarakhand have prepared and uploaded 1,020 infrastructure projects worth ₹15,000 crore to the dedicated portal. Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, in a high-level meeting at the Secretariat, directed departmental secretaries to prioritize these projects based on urgency and impact.
He emphasized that project scrutiny will be done through the Finance, Planning, and Administrative departments before final approval. The progress of each project will be closely monitored through the PM Gati Shakti Uttarakhand portal, ensuring better transparency and coordination between departments and the state administration.
The Chief Secretary also instructed the IT Secretary to integrate the e-Office system with the project monitoring portal to streamline updates and oversight. The meeting was attended by senior officials including Additional Chief Secretary R. Meenakshi Sundaram and secretaries Nitesh Kumar Jha, Sachin Kurve, Dilip Jawalkar, Dr. BVRC Purushottam, Dr. Ranjit Kumar Sinha, Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar, Vinay Shankar Pandey, Sreedhar Babu Addanki, Deependra Kumar Chaudhary, and Dhiraj Singh Garbyal.
