PM Modi Targets Congress in Yamunanagar, Recalls Jallianwala Bagh Incident

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to Yamunanagar, Haryana, laid the foundation stone for an 800 MW thermal power unit and a compressed biogas plant. In his address, he launched a sharp attack on the Congress, invoking the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and recalling the resignation of Sir Shankaran Nair in protest against British atrocities. Modi questioned the Congress’ historical role and reiterated that the BJP continues to walk the path of truth with the goal of building a developed India.

Highlighting Haryana’s rich cultural heritage, the Prime Minister praised Yamunanagar for its growing significance on India’s industrial map. He also paid tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, stating that Ambedkar’s principles guide the government’s policies. Modi further emphasized the government’s efforts to strengthen India’s manufacturing sector and integrate Dalit communities into industrial development.
