Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, a key figure in India’s political and economic transformation, was laid to rest today with full state honors at Delhi’s Nigam Bodh Ghat.

Dr. Singh passed away on Thursday night at the age of 92 at AIIMS Delhi. On Friday, dignitaries including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu visited his residence to pay their respects. His mortal remains were then placed at the Congress headquarters for the public to pay their last tributes.
