Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj on Wednesday. Accompanied by CM Yogi Adityanath, he performed Ganga Puja, aarti, and offered Arghya to the Sun God amidst Vedic chants.
PM Modi arrived at Bamrauli Airport and reached Arail Ghat via helicopter before proceeding to Sangam on a special motorboat. Wearing a black kurta, saffron stole, and Himachali cap, he took five dips in the sacred confluence of Ganga, Yamuna, and the invisible Saraswati. Local priests welcomed him with a tilak before he departed via helicopter after completing the rituals.
