Delhi: Special Session on May 13–14; Private School Fee Bill to Be Introduced

The BJP legislature party meeting concluded at the Delhi Secretariat under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. A key decision was made to convene a two-day special session of the Delhi Assembly on May 13 and 14, during which the Private School Fee Bill will be tabled.

Delhi Minister Ashish Sood said that the meeting focused on preparing for the upcoming session. Legislators discussed issues faced by their respective constituencies and highlighted the government’s achievements. He also pointed out the recent unprecedented rainfall in May—highest in 125 years—and how the government resolved waterlogging within an hour, reflecting effective monsoon preparedness.

Additionally, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated the Medical Legal Evidence and Patient Reporting Portal at the Secretariat. This digital platform aims to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability in medico-legal documentation. The launch event was attended by Home Minister Ashish Sood, Chief Secretary Dharmendra, and Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora. A dedicated medical-legal mobile van was also launched during the event.
