India-Pakistan DGMO Talks Conclude; PM Modi to Address Nation at 8 PM Today

The DGMO-level talks between India and Pakistan concluded today, amidst heightened tensions along the border. Originally scheduled for the afternoon, the discussions were held later in the evening, according to official sources. The talks come in the wake of recent military engagements and a temporary ceasefire agreement that was violated shortly after its initiation.

In a parallel development, the Telangana government has stepped in to assist its residents living in border states. A 24×7 control room has been set up at Telangana Bhawan in Delhi to support evacuees. So far, 162 people from Telangana have reached Delhi, including 56 from various institutions in Jammu & Kashmir and 106 from Punjab.

Amid ongoing tension, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address the nation at 8 PM tonight. This will be his first public statement following the Indian Army’s ‘Operation Sindoor’. It is expected that the Prime Minister will provide an official update and reassurance to the nation regarding the recent events and the country’s stance moving forward.
