PoK Will Be Ours: Rajnath Singh Warns Pak Against Terrorism

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh made a firm statement during the CII Annual Business Summit 2025, declaring that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) will eventually become a part of India. “PoK’s people are our own, and a day will come when they themselves will say they want to be part of India,” he asserted.

Singh added that India will only engage with Pakistan on two issues: terrorism and PoK. He made it clear that terrorism will no longer be tolerated and that any attempt to harm India will be met with a decisive response. “We have already destroyed terror camps and even struck enemy military bases and airfields. We could have done more, but instead we showed the world a balance of power and restraint,” he said.

On Operation Sindhur, Singh highlighted that the mission showcased the success of the Make in India initiative, proving its strategic value for national security. “Without indigenous capability, our forces couldn’t have acted so effectively from lower Pakistan to PoK,” he emphasized.

He warned Pakistan that “running a terrorism business is no longer cost-effective,” and added that Pakistan is now realizing the heavy price it must pay. “We have reshaped both our policy and response toward terrorism. From now on, all talks with Pakistan will revolve solely around terrorism and PoK,” Singh reiterated.

Affirming India’s commitment to the vision of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat,” the Defence Minister expressed confidence that those currently separated from India, both geographically and politically, will one day rejoin the national mainstream.
