Dehradun: The Chief Minister’s Meritorious Student Incentive (Junior and Secondary Level) Scholarship Examination 2025–26, scheduled for October 6 and 7, has once again been postponed. The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Uttarakhand, issued fresh orders citing arrangements for the safety and smooth conduct of the examination.
Earlier, the exam was planned to be conducted across 347 centers in the state on October 6, but due to administrative reasons, the dates have been rescheduled. SCERT Director Bandana Garbyal clarified in an official circular that ensuring student safety remains the top priority, and the new dates will be announced after proper review.
All Chief Education Officers and district officials have been instructed to remain alert and ensure immediate communication with examination authorities regarding arrangements. They have also been directed to make foolproof security and administrative preparations to prevent any lapses during the upcoming exams.

The SCERT has further warned that any negligence in conducting the examination safely will be the sole responsibility of the concerned education officers.
