A car travelling from Dehradun towards Haridwar met with an accident on the Haridwar highway near Majri Grant after the driver reportedly dozed off at the wheel. The vehicle lost control and overturned, leaving three passengers injured.
According to outpost in-charge Vinay Mittal, the accident occurred when the driver briefly fell asleep while driving. The speeding car suddenly veered off and overturned on the highway stretch.

All three injured occupants were rushed to a nearby hospital before police reached the spot. The incident caused panic and brief chaos on the highway as traffic slowed down following the crash. Police have taken note of the incident and further inquiry is underway.
