The sacred Adi Badri Temple in Uttarakhand opened its doors to devotees on Makar Sankranti, marking the beginning of its winter darshan. The temple premises, along with other local temples and the market area, were adorned with vibrant floral decorations for the auspicious occasion.
Chief priest Chakradhar Thapliyal revealed that the temple gates were opened during the Brahma Muhurta at 4:00 AM, while public darshan commenced at 6:00 AM. Despite the biting cold, the atmosphere resonated with the melodious recitation of Vedic chants, creating a deeply spiritual ambiance.
On the first day of Magh Maas, a large number of devotees braved the chilly weather to witness the ceremonial opening and behold the magnificence of Lord Adi Badri’s decorated idol.
