Amul Reduces Milk Prices by ₹1 Per Litre, Consumers Gets Relief

Amul has announced a ₹1 per litre price cut for its three major milk variants—Amul Gold, Amul Tea Special, and Amul Fresh. Managing Director of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), Jayen Mehta, stated that this reduction applies to one-litre packs of these products.

In Delhi, Amul Gold will now cost ₹67 instead of ₹68 per litre, while Amul Fresh has been reduced from ₹56 to ₹55 per litre. This move aims to encourage consumers to opt for larger packs.

GCMMF’s Achievements

GCMMF, the world’s largest farmer-owned dairy cooperative, recorded a turnover of ₹59,445 crore in the fiscal year 2023–24. Its 3.6 million farmer members supply an impressive 300 lakh litres of milk daily.

In addition, GCMMF has strengthened its position in international markets, exporting dairy products to over 50 countries.
