New Delhi, January 2025 – Ahead of the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is set to release its manifesto today. Party convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will unveil the document at 12 PM, outlining AAP’s priorities and promises for the upcoming elections.
Earlier, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) presented the final segment of its manifesto on Saturday. Union Home Minister Amit Shah highlighted key pledges, including ownership rights for 1,700 unauthorized colonies, Yamuna Riverfront development, free medical treatment up to ₹5 lakh, 50,000 government jobs for youth, and insurance benefits for gig workers.
The BJP accused AAP of failing to deliver on promises, with Shah specifically targeting Kejriwal for allegedly breaking commitments, such as his stance on government housing. Shah also claimed that AAP has used the demand for full statehood as an excuse to cover its performance shortcomings.
As AAP prepares to reveal its new promises, the manifesto is expected to provide a glimpse into the party’s strategy to counter BJP’s criticism and connect with voters.
