Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi has initiated a crowdfunding campaign ahead of the upcoming elections. Addressing the public, she emphasized that her party refrains from accepting funds from big corporates, relying instead on the support of common citizens to uphold honest politics.
Atishi revealed that she requires ₹40 lakh to contest elections from the Kalkaji constituency and has sought contributions through the campaign. She encouraged people to donate any amount as per their capability.
According to AAP, this initiative aims to advance the government’s commitment to transparency and public welfare with the backing of citizen support.
