Cataract Surgery Without Ayushman Card: Special Camp from December 25-31

Doon Hospital’s Ophthalmology Department will host a special cataract surgery camp from December 25 to 31, allowing patients to undergo surgery even without an Ayushman card. Organized under the Governor’s directive, the camp aims to assist patients who have been unable to seek treatment due to the absence of the Ayushman card.

Dr. Shanti Pandey, Head of the Ophthalmology Department, stated that surgeries will be performed on patients within the hospital premises for seven consecutive days. This initiative is expected to benefit a large number of needy patients, providing them with essential eye care services.
