At the UCC Gratitude Conference held at Kendriya Vidyalaya in BHEL campus, Haridwar, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid heartfelt tribute to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on his birth anniversary. The Chief Minister stated that Babasaheb’s entire life serves as a powerful message that not only guided him but also millions of marginalized, oppressed, and disadvantaged people towards justice.
CM Dhami emphasized that the country can never forget Dr. Ambedkar’s pivotal role in drafting the Constitution of India. He noted that Ambedkar enshrined justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity as the core pillars of the Indian Republic in the Preamble itself.
Calling Dr. Ambedkar a visionary, Dhami said that though he was born in a colonized India, his determination and intellect led him to drive significant social change. Referring to the large public turnout at the event, the CM remarked that it reflected Babasaheb’s enduring presence in the collective consciousness of society. He called efforts to uplift the underprivileged a lasting inspiration for the nation.
