Defence Minister Rajnath Singh performed a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj during the sixth day of Mahakumbh 2025 and offered prayers at religious sites. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visit was postponed.
So far, over 7 crore devotees have participated in the grand religious event, with the numbers steadily increasing. According to sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit Mahakumbh on February 8 or 9, where he will take a holy dip and address the gathering. CM Yogi Adityanath has officially invited the PM to the event.
To ensure smooth management and crowd control, the Uttar Pradesh government has sought assistance from the Hyderabad Police Training Center. Recognized as the world’s largest religious gathering, Mahakumbh continues to attract millions of devotees from across the globe.
