The Income Tax Department conducted a raid at Rama Panels, a plywood manufacturing company located in the SIDCUL area of Rudrapur. The team arrived in two vehicles and began an extensive investigation of the company’s financial records, which has been ongoing for over three hours.
Sources suggest that the raid is linked to allegations of tax evasion amounting to crores of rupees. Strict security measures were imposed at the company’s premises, preventing anyone from entering during the operation. So far, the company management has not issued any official statement regarding the matter.
