A tragic incident was reported from Mahadev Colony in Kashipur, where two young children drowned while bathing in water accumulated in a vacant plot. The incident has left the locality in shock and raised concerns over the safety hazards posed by waterlogged open spaces.

According to preliminary information, the two children had entered the water-filled vacant plot to bathe when they accidentally drowned. Family members and local residents rushed them to a nearby hospital immediately after the incident. However, doctors declared both children dead on arrival.

Following the incident, Tehsildar Pankaj Chandola reached the spot to assess the situation and gather details about the tragedy. Local authorities also inspected the site as part of the inquiry into the incident.
