On Friday, the first day of bookings for Kedarnath helicopter services in the second phase of the Char Dham Yatra, 4,700 tickets were reserved. The IRCTC portal opened at 12 noon, and by evening, most of the seats were already taken, showing strong demand for heli services to Kedarnath.
Ashish Chauhan, CEO of Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA), said bookings have been opened for a week-long window covering September 15 to 22. Out of the total quota, only 300 seats remain available for booking.
